A few days ago I was having a conversation with my parents back home when the subject of me owning firearms was brought up. You see I used to move around a bit and so I kept the collection and ammo for them at the folks place since it is the safest place for them. Since then I have my own place and so I have them with me now, but I did say to them that I might have to move around again and so the gun issue came up. Mother said that she does not want the guns in her house for fear of the police breaking down her door because of them. I looked at her when she said that expecting it to be a joke but it was not. Kind of unusual behavior from them on something like this since as long as I can remember they were pro government even when the government was screwing my parents in taxes on their paychecks and the family was barely hanging in there. I used to tell them that our rights are slowly being taken away (this was in the early 1990's) by doing it one little right at a time, you know first it was no smoking in malls then it was restaurants then the bars and now whole states ban smoking in all public places. I am a non smoker, but using the smoking thing as an example. I remember telling my parents even until recently that they should have supplies on hand in case of an emergency such as power outage, big forest fire or being snowed in. I got the are you fucking nuts look and then they proceed to tell me that the city or government will take care of them. Ever since the patriot act was passed their mood has shifted. Now they know their asses can go to jail for no reason. And as for the guns I said "mom dad look who is gonna know they are here and since was it a crime to have them" "Well, the neighbors or somebody could get wind of your collection and that would put us in danger" she said. Then she said "I just don't want to provoke the police anymore than we have to" then I dropped the bomb of the conversation by saying to my parents "If you were alive in the 1930's and lived in Europe you would've made good Jews". It's gonna be a shitty Christmas.
On to the Government thing, we need to stand up and quit taking this shit like we are some little bitch. The government works for us not us for them we elect them into office and so we can kick them out of office. The Government are the employees of the US citizen and no boss I know of takes shit from an employee. How dare they pick apart the Constitution at their own leisure. They have no right to pick it apart, the Constitution is the peoples tool to keep the Government in check. How dare they pass bills and legislation that will greatly affect us without our approval first, for example the bailout or the biggest heist in U.S. history. The amount is still growing cause nobody read the bill and so the president of the Federal Reserve is doing whatever they like with the cash they are printing and the banks are keeping it for themselves. The only bailout money the taxpayer will see is the money that they take from his paycheck. The Government is like this big bloated pig and it is standing on the backs of the taxpayer and I wonder when the back will break. What is gonna happen then when the back does break? I hear different things from different people, but the conversations always end in where can I get some cheap ammunition for my AR-15 or AK-47 (they know I like guns). Until earlier this year I had a TV, but when I moved down here to Oregon it broke so I never got another one and so the only entertainment that I have is the Internet and that is where I found people like Alex Jones and Mark Koernke to name a few. At first I was like these people are weird then one day I sat in my quiet apartment and thought of all the things that I used to be able to do and now are considered illegal, the list was long. When I volunteer at the local museum I talk to the younger crowd and realize that the education system is done for, these kids know nothing thanks to the government. The only thing they do know is how to spend money and who is who on MTV's the Hills. I asked one kid about the first world war and he got it confused with Vietnam or Korea, My god. I am waiting for that knock on the door because I didn't register a weapon and the local gestapo found out about it and wants to detain me for a few decades and I ask myself what will I do when something like that happens what will I do? and the answer is I do not know. I could chicken out and give in and then have plenty of time to think about it behind bars or start a firefight and possibly get killed in the process. Every revolution starts off with a bang.
